Although I think the slacker might be a bit of a misnomer - I'd define it as being hands-off and expecting my consultants to achieve the end result with a minimum of direction. After all, I hire them because they're the experts, and my team doesn't have the time to focus on the process - we're focused on other priorities. Seem to me that companies, no matter what size they are, are going to be looking for ways to cut expenses. I would think that virtual assistants, outsourcing programs, consultants, freelancers, etc., are going to have some great opportunities for growth, if they market themselves appropriately.
